About Us
The mission of the Brentwood Photography Group is to serve our members by encouraging development of their photographic skills through education, exhibitions of photographic accomplishments, friendship with others who share a love of photography and to share our talents with individuals and organizations in our community.
Our group members are a mixture of beginning, amateur and professional photographers, with skills ranging from novice to expert. We shoot a wide variety of subjects ranging from portraiture to nature. Each of us wants to learn more, and to share what we have learned about making pictures.
Group activities include:
- Monthly meetings with guest speakers on a wide range of photographic topics
- Monthly group outings to take shots with specific themes
- Monthly luncheons with other BPG members to discuss photographic topics and showcase your work
- Periodic exhibits of our work in local galleries
- Various opportunities to volunteer for charitable events

Community Involvement
Part of the group's mission is to share the talents of its members with organizations that serve the community. This outreach effort is designed to educate the public on the activities of the Brentwood Photography Group while providing valuable photographic services to non-profit and governmental agencies. This effort has resulted in the raising of thousands of dollars for research benefiting orgainzations like the Arthritis Foudation, the Diabetes Association and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to name a few.
For non-profit organizaitons, volunteers from the Brentwood Photography Group photograph fund raising events and through the sale of prints to participants, raise funds to further research and services. The club's Volunteer Coordinator works closely with non-profits to design a program that matches club member talents to the organizations needs. Come Check Us Out
Guests are always welcome at our monthly meetings. We meet once a month (the first Tuesday) at the Otter Creek Church located at 409 Franklin Road in Brentwood, TN. 37027 at 6:00 pm. See this page for upcoming meeting details.
How to Join
To join the Brentwood Photography Group, you can either print this application and bring it to the next meeting with your membership fee, or click here to join online. The annual membership fee is $40 ($10 for additional family members living in the same household).
